Reviews

I ordered a cup of white soup (very tasty) and a red one (too vinegary for my taste). Each cost around 14 zloty, compared with other soups that were about 24 zloty. The soup was served in a coffee cup, so the portion was small, but sufficient for me. I also had a grilled chicken salad, which was very good, and a portion of dumplings with potatoes and mushrooms, topped with plenty of fried onions — those were not really to my taste. They had an apple pie that looked absolutely fantastic and very tempting, but I was too full to try it. The staff are very polite and extremely kind. The atmosphere is warm, and our overall experience was pleasant. We came to this restaurant following the recommendation of the local guide who showed us around the city.
We booked this restaurant for dinner after reading reviews and walking by to check it out, to see if they would allow us to have dinner there with our puppy as we are visiting from Vienna. They told us they are dog friendly. We had an exceptional meal with our family. The food was not only really good but the service was excellent as well as the ambiance. We had the stuffed cabbage with tomato sauce, potato pancakes with goulash, perogie platter (all were tasty but my favorite was the cabbage and mushroom perogie), grilled chicken with potato dumplings (that were spongy like marshmallows) and apple pie with ice cream and whipped cream. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Good food and a really nice waiter. The kitchen was a little slow and there was a bit of chaos, but it’s December and there are many Christmas parties, so a lot is going on. In the end, it was a nice evening with good food. There is still room for improvement, but it’s a place I can recommend. Something especially positive: many vegetarian options of Polish food.
An absolutely amazing experience at Smakołyki in Kraków! 🤩 The service was truly outstanding — friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The food was simply incredible, full of flavor and top quality! The restaurant itself is beautiful, warm, and thoughtfully designed down to the smallest detail. It’s 100% worth a visit — one of the best places I’ve tried! 👏✨
Great food, great service. A lot of traditional Polish dishes. Big shoutout to our waitress Zenia - her recommendations and service were top notch! Will definitely come by again!
